FAMILY
I met my husband Bryan while attending Emporia State University and we married in August 1970.  We have a son, Darien, 33, a CPA and a daughter, Brenna, 22, a soon to be graduate of Marquette University.

WORK/EDUCATION
I went to KU and graduated with a degree in French in 1969.  I then attended Emporia State University and completed my MLS in 1970.  I worked for the Chicago Public Library for 17 years and have been Head of Youth services at the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District for the past 21 years.  My husband is a retired medical Librarian and a disabled veteran.

LIFE
We have been living in the Chicago metro area since 1970.  I am an 8 1/2 year breast cancer survivor and have learned to be thankful for each new day.  Many blessings to all of my classmates.
