Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia Ann Transmeier, 47, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery in Clinton.

Mrs. Transmeier died August 9, 1995 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO.

She was born November 24, 1947, in Lawrence, the daughter of William W. and Margaret "Peg" Clark Wempe.  She was the assistant office manager for Wempe Animal Hospital for 26 years.  She was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence.

She married Cecil M. Transmeier on September 20, 1967, in Lawrence.  He survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Tracy L. Transmeier, Lenexa and Liberty A. Transmeier, Lawrence; her father, Dr. W.W. Wempe, Lawrence; four brothers, Michael, Odessa, TX, Stephen, Peter and K.C., all of Lawrence; and a sister, Nancy Swearingen, Lawrence.  She was preceded in death by her mother on January 31, 1986.
