Jeff died Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born January 30, 1947, in Ironton, Ohio, the son of Thomas 'Tom" and Lorene Brennan Triplett. 

He graduated from Lawrence High School in 1965 and attended Kansas University for two years.

For the past 40 years, he was the owner of Triplett Enterprises in Lawrence.

He is survived by his mother, of Lawrence; a son, Tommy Triplett, Lecompton; a stepson, Shane Triplett, Lawrence; a stepdaughter, Shelly Wray, Lawrence; three sisters, Joan Stupperich, Alton, Ill, Jane May and husband Jerry, Lawrence, and Judy Englebrake and husband Mike, Baldwin and six stepgrandchildren.
