FAMILY
My husband Don and I have two children. Amy and Matthew.

  Amy our daughter is married and works for Sunshine Industrial.  She and husband Jeremy have Dana.  Amy is a great mother even though Dana is her step-son, they have a very good relationship and it's fun to watch and hear how they handle different things.  I will laugh sometimes when Amy is telling me something and she will say, "I know, you are laughing at me".  I have to assure her that I am NOT laughing at her, but at the situation--I tell her; "It's very ironic that Dana does not have one gene from your body yet he acts just like you did!"

Matthew is working for SMH Materials Handling, where he edits Maintenance Manuals.  He learned what most people can edit in a day, which is 8 thousand lines and figured out better ways to use the system and can edit 28 thousand plus lines per day and he has learned to make quotes.  They may be sending him to Belgium, the home company, to train those people.

EDUCATION/WORK
After LHS I graduated from Draughton's College of Commerce.  I have had many jobs and worked many places, but the last 22 years I have been at Blue Valley North High School as Registrar.  On June 3, 2008 I retired.

LIFE
We have lived in Missouri, Bangkok, California and Kansas.  The last 27 years we have lived in Olathe, Kansas where we built a new house 20 months ago.  Don't ask me if I miss work because I certainly do not!  I miss a lot of the people at work but I am too busy to miss work.  I have made enough work for myself after retirement but I love every minute of it.
