FAMILY
My husband Gary, former Iowa farm boy, and I have been married since 1971. We have two sons, Matt (29) and Brian (25). In the last year, we have become proud grandparents of two cats, Ringo and Ortiz, and, unfortunately, I also discovered that I am allergic to cats and dogs!
EDUCATION/WORK

LIFE
I came to LHS in the fall of 1964 as the result of a conscious decision to join the Class of 1965. By leaving my parents and 5 younger siblings in Aberdeen, Maryland and coming to LHS, I added number 10 to the list of schools I had attended since I began kindergarten.
As the daughter of an army officer, changing schools every year or two was a fact of life. Ordinarily the changes were dictated by where my father was stationed, but this time it was my choice. I wanted to return to Lawrence to finish high school with the group of girls who had welcomed me so warmly when we were all 9th graders at West Junior High. Even though many of those girls had lived in Lawrence all or most of their lives, they never made me feel like an outsider, and for that I wall always be grateful.
Thank you. And thank you to the other members of the Class of '65 I got to know that senior year. What an amazing class of be a part of. I made a great choice.
Gary and I have lived in Maine for the past 25 years. Our son Matt has a congenital brain anomaly called agenesis of the corpus callosum (ACC), and much of my professional life for the last 16 years has been devoted to establishing and sustaining a network of families and professionals seeking information and support concerning this condition.
I continue to enjoy crafts that involve using my hands such as quilting, origami and knitting. Gary and I also enjoy excursions on our recumbent bikes.
Best wishes to all. Have a wonderful reunion.
