Services for Stephen R. Hill, 42, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with the Rev, Mike Scully officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Lawrence.
Mr. Hill died Sunday, October 15, 1989 of cancer at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He was born June 4, 1947, in Lawrence and attended Lawrence schools. He graduated from Lawrence High School in 1965 and from Kansas University in 1971.
Mr. Hill was a graphic designer and owned his own advertising and design company in Oklahoma City.
He married Cynthia Whitaker on December 8, 1986, in Oklahoma City. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his mother, Bridgie Hill, Lawrence; a son, Richard Garrett Hill, of the home; a brother, James, Lawrence; and a sister Mary Kay Craig, Lawrence.
