LIFE
Having just buried my sister Debbie last year, who was 5 years younger than me and had an incurable disease (Huntington's) which I had a 50% chance of having but don't, I am just happy to be alive and able to see everyone again!

Growing up in Lawrence, St. Johns, Central Jr. High and of course LHS.  Believing we were special, being part of the culture and intellectual stimulation of a university community.  The sports legacy of our high school, Nanny Duver, Dad Perry, square dancing, learning what it meant to be a gentleman and of course Al Woolard, Al and Tony Ice, and all the wonderful teachers.  The "dragon lady" herself, Ms. Ruttan, the Roth's, the team teachers in history and government and most of all you, us the kids, our relationships, for some of us going back to grade school, which continue to this day.

I am very grateful to the committee, to our parents, teachers and I am looking forward to the weekend.
