FAMILY   
Married David Stine, class of '62 in June 1965.  The marriage produced two children Jeff in 1966 and Kris in 1968.  The marriage ended in 1994.  In 1996 I married the love of my life, Bill Lawrence and we blended my two children with his two children David and Shane.  Jeff is a Senior Director at Sallie Mae and his wife Tracy and our grandson Ethan are in Pennsylvania.  Kris lives in Overland Park and is a Health Risk Management Specialist at Lockton Companies in KC,MO.   David has a trucking company and his wife Barbara and our two granddaughters Morgan and Samantha live in Tonganoxie.  Shane is in the KC area. 
 
WORK
I was a stay at home Mom for awhile and then got back into the work force by working for the school system, then I work in a radiology office and finally the Postal Service.  I started in 1983 as a Letter Carrier and retired in November 2007 as Manager of Jayhawk Station. 


LIFE  
The years go by in a flash. Our family is a big part of our lives.  The kids of course are grown and unfortunately the grandchildren are growing a little to fast. 

Bill and I are both retired and loving it.  We travel, enjoy family and friends and best of all we do just what we want to do.  I highly recommend retirement, do it your first opportunity.
