Mrs. Lathrom died Wednesday, February 25, 2004, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Merriam.

She was born October 11, 1947 in Lawrence, the daughter of Harold Elmer "Andy" and Esther Jane Garrett Andersen.  She graduated from Lawrence HIgh School in 1965.

Mrs. Lathrom was a bookkeeper for the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 309.  She was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxillary No. 852.

She married Noble Albert Lathrom Jr. on November 28, 1969.  He survives of the home.

Other survivors include  a son, Garrett Lathrom, Lawrence; two daughers, Tammy Abram, Lawrence and Kara Knisely, Greenwood, Mo; a stepson, Michael Lathrom, Topeka; four grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.
